Mary Claret Studio

As a studio assistant, I was able to see the day to day life of a small business, and really dip my toes in all areas. I handled shipping out orders through ship station, which included cutting fabric, preparing orders, packaging, weighing labeling, and inventory management through our software.

My first project was to organize and develop a better system for fabric swatch management. I ordered new organizers and developed a working system to keep track of all fabric swatches and make packing easier.

Additionally, I worked on completely redesigning and ordering a new packaging system for the brand. I did extensive research on sustainable packing and sizing. Additionally, I did internal research on what in our current packaging system we felt was working and what wasn’t. I ordered and inventoried all of our new packing, and even designing custom tags, labels, tape and stickers to use as branding.

I have also helped the brand with pop-up shops here in Austin, connecting with customers and selling our clothing in person.
