This collection was inspired by Millie’s career at UT. She wanted to create a collection that encompassed her work and passions during these past few years, and that really spoke to her personal style. Rodeo Queen is a mix of western and modern design. "I wanted it to be bright and colorful, yet clean and sophisticated. It's western wear for the modern cowgirl!" - Millie 

The fabric from this collection was sourced from a site called spoonflower, which supports small artists by allowing them to upload their prints to their site. They then print on ethically sourced fabrics in Austin, TX. The black eyelet fabric was sourced from etsy and hand dyed black by a local fabric artist. As an alternative to plastic sequins, this collection features a biodegradable option, made from PLA and laser cut by fellow students.
